- Here is a patch I made for Wine to fix most bugs when running Xilinx FPGA Editor under Linux/Wine. It should be applied to a fairly recent CVS version of Wine.

- Green Mountain VHDL Compiler about $600 from Green Mountain Computing Systems. A nice looking VHDL Studio, with extra features such as graphical state diagram entry, is also available.
- BlueHDL about $1.5K from Blue Pacific Computing. A free student version is also available.
- Pathway about $4K from FTL Systems. A $95 student version is also available.

- NC-Sim about $5K from Cadence.
- Modelsim SE about $20K from Mentor Graphics.
